ImaginationGYMยฎ has been field tested across a remarkable range of professional settings. Here is how it is used in each context.
Primary Schools
Used for S.P.H.E., Media Studies, Nature, Global Studies, Religious Studies and Reflective Time. Supports teachers, SNAs, resource teachers and school counsellors. Allows hyperactive children to develop concentration and self-regulated behaviour.
Hospitals & Clinics
Clinical practitioners โ counsellors, psychologists, play therapists, music therapists โ use ImaginationGYMยฎ to maintain homeostasis between sessions. Regular use creates a calm and happy internal state the listener can return to at will.
Women's Refuges
Field tested in women's refuges as part of the original 400+ site programme. The self-paced, non-prescriptive nature of the methodology makes it particularly suitable for children in emotionally complex situations.
Prisons
Part of the original field testing programme. The methodology's focus on self-regulation, focus, and emotional balance has proven effective in custodial settings working with young people.
Care Homes
Adapted as activity therapy for older people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. A training programme specifically for nurses, activity therapists and care coordinators has been developed.
Community
After-school clubs, childcare settings, community programmes. The methodology is flexible enough to be used in large and small group settings as well as one-to-one.

Express Your InterestWhat Educators & Practitioners Say
"The improvement in children's ability to settle, focus and listen has been one of the most significant outcomes I've seen from any educational programme in my classroom. ImaginationGYM gives every child โ including our most challenging โ a way to succeed."
"As a play therapist, I found ImaginationGYM invaluable for maintaining the therapeutic gains made in sessions. The audio creates a calm, safe imaginative space children can return to independently โ which is exactly what I need between our appointments."
"The in-service training was excellent โ practically grounded and theoretically robust. The course content covering Multiple Intelligence Theory and Vygotsky gave our whole staff a shared vocabulary for talking about children's learning."
